Secondary Science

We have been doing a range of practical work to support learning.  In key stage 3 we have looked at the power of motors and how different metals conduct heat, separated mixtures using a chromatography technique and looked at how this can be used to solve crimes, completed food tests, heart dissections and at how plants lose water.

In Key stage 4 we have looked at how to save energy by insulating things and year 11 pupils are completing mandatory work for their GCSE.
