Pupil Premium Statement
Pupil Premium funding was introduced in April 2011. Schools are allocated funding for children from low-income families who were eligible for free school meals, looked after children and those from families with parents in the Armed Forces.
The funding is used to:
- raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers.
- support children and young people in school.
The Department for Education has clear expectations about how the Pupil Premium Funding may be spent for the educational benefit of pupils.
Glebedale School did not receive pupil premium funding in 2021-2022. Many of the placements at Glebedale School are jointly funded by Education, Social Care and Heath.
